U7 LTP Players

U7 Division Info

The Cordova Bay Fastball U7 Program also called Learn to Play (or LTP) supports our youngest fastball players, providing training in fundamentals and the experience they need to grow in the sport. The emphasis is on fun and skill development - with fast and engaging sessions that keep players moving and learning. Players benefit from structured practices and simplified games.

Schedule

The season begins in early April and runs until the end of June. During this time, players will be on the field two times per week.  Practices will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm-6:30pm, Games are typically set for Saturday mornings at 9am.

Age Requirements

In Spring 2025, U7 Fastball is for players born in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Team Selection

Cordova Bay Fastball will make every effort to accommodate friend or coaching requests made at the time of registration however, no guarantees can be made.

Uniforms

Players will receive a team uniform shirt and a hat (new players only) that they get to keep at the end of the season (there is no uniform deposit). This is their uniform. Players are asked to wear their team uniform on both practice days and game days.

Equipment

Required equipment:

Please ensure that you mark the player's name on everything. A white label or masking tape works well on the outside of the batting helmet and handwritten on labels in shirts, glove and hats.
